We are believers in The Lord Jesus Christ

We are non-denominational Christians meeting in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, for worship, proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel, teaching the Word of God.

We share Communion each Sunday morning in the breaking of bread and drinking of the cup, symbols of the once for all sacrifice of the body and blood of the Lord Jesus, and this is open to all who trust in The Lord Jesus Christ for Eternal Salvation. All who believe in Christ and confess Him, as Saviour and Lord would be encouraged to be Baptised by immersion in water.

The Bible is the authoritative and divinely inspired Word of God, and the only basis of faith and guide to practice.

The Unity of of the Godhead and the distinctions of persons in that unity namely the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The Deity and true humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His all sufficient High priesthood and sole mediation of His people and His personal corning again at a day and hour unknown. There is no other way of salvation for sinners than by personal faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.

(Matthew 18:20; Hebrews 10:25; 1 Corinthians 11:23-30; Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:41,42).

We practise:

1. The observance of the Baptism of Believers by immersion as an act of obedience to Christ and an open profession of faith in Him, symbolising the believers union with Jesus Christ and identification with Him in His death, burial and resurrection.

2. The observance of the Lord’s Supper as an institution whereby:

(a) believers remember the Lord Jesus and “show forth the Lord’s death until He comes again”, the bread and wine being symbols of His body given and blood shed.

(b) The unity of the spiritual body of Christ is demonstrated, the privilege of participation, after due self-examination, being open to all, who confess Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.

In addition:

As the Bible is the divinely inspired WORD OF God, we understand and believe that the Promises which God gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and confirmed to the following generations of the nation of Israel, are intended for Israel alone, and therefore cannot be meant directly for the church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

That there is, however, an application from the history of Israel for New Testament believers today is clear, but the specific nature of the Promises is peculiar to Israel.

We believe God is completely faithful to His Word and therefore to the choice that He made in Deuteronomy 7:6-12. This, with other aspects of Bible prophecy, have a direct bearing on events in the world today, and especially Israel.

The world (of people) is in unbelief, and rebellion against God. We can see how this is unfolding more and more today, in 2023, and how relevant Jesus’ words are in Matthew 24:24, as well as events yet to come in The Revelation. The Bible explains all these things for us.

The most important step we need to take now, is to put our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died because of our sins, He was buried, and was raised again, and ascended back to His Father in Heaven. If we ask for His forgiveness, we will receive it and the free gift of eternal life, and have Peace with God. John 14:1-6, 27. Romans 15:13.

Jesus promises that He will come back again the second time. John 14:1-4; Matthew 24:29-31.
